Toray Ultrasuede (America), Inc. Partners with Neal and Jonathan Boyarsky to Expand Presence in Men's Luxury Fashion

NEW YORK, May 1, 2007

Toray Ultrasuede (America), Inc. today announced a partnership with esteemed fabric wholesalers and retailers Neal and Jonathan Boyarsky, owners and principals of Beckenstein Men's Fabrics. Better known to industry insiders as Fabric Czar USA, Inc., the company sells the finest menswear fabrics available in the world.

Beckenstein Men's Fabrics will represent and distribute Ultrasuede® fabrics for men's garments and other menswear products to custom tailors, manufacturers, the entertainment industry and the sports industry. The partnership with the Boyarskys will foster growth for Ultrasuede in upscale men's fashion, a previously untapped category for the brand. A distinguished fashion leader, Beckenstein Men's Fabrics handles over 1,150 accounts, including 90% of custom tailors in the U.S. The Boyarskys will act as a conduit between Ultrasuede® and their high-end design and retail partners, providing tastemakers with the exceptional texture, vibrant colors and advanced performance technology that has made Ultrasuede® the worldwide leader in its category.

The Boyarsky partnership reinvigorates the Ultrasuede brand's roots in luxury fashion. Ultrasuede® rose to prominence in the seminal collections of American designer Halston, who redefined women's fashion in the '70s. "We are thrilled to revisit our fashion roots and uphold our style legacy," said Robert Steir, fashion marketing manager at TUA. "Perhaps the most exciting aspect of this venture, however, is the potential for pursuing new opportunities within the men's market. We anticipate that our partnership with Neal and Jonathan Boyarsky will open previously unexplored design possibilities for both parties."
