The Ultrasuede® European Collection for Spring/Summer 2005 offers an enthralling tactile and visual experience in which softness, pastel colors and a fluid play of light and shade provide the distinctive features of the season's new styles.

Designed, produced and finished in Italy by TUA sister company Alcantara SpA, the Ultrasuede® European Collection combines advanced techniques with this year's most sought-after color ranges. The dynamic appearance of these materials is the fruit of sophisticated technologies applied creatively to engender a collection that's fresh and light and also has a touch of glamour.

Just a small sampling of the innovative looks and effects possible in our new European Collection.

Key elements in the collection include openwork fabrics with laser-processed surfaces, in which circular or rectangular shapes create delicate transparent movements. Equally important are the laminated fabrics, ranging from Dalmatian-type irregular dots to tribal-inspired tattoo patterns.
The vast array of products also features some color innovations: vibrant tones such as fuchsia and orange are joyously applied to pastel backgrounds to create an unmistakably '70s look. Similar effects are created by the geometric patterns and zigzag stitching of the embroidered fabrics.

Other significant materials include brushed fabrics, with irregular surfaces and original tone-on-tone camouflage effects, and crimped fabrics, which have that distinctive creased paper look. Thanks to new technology, the fabrics are now far stronger too.
