Toray Ultrasuede Partners
with Eos Orchestra
for Second Season
New York, October 3, 2003 -- Toray Ultrasuede
(America), Inc., is proud to announce its second year as a season
sponsor of
Eos Orchestra. Part of the Toray Ultrasuede Partners in the
Art of Performance program, the 2003/2004 sponsorship extends the
enthusiastic support of the artistic mission of Eos Orchestra and
its founder, Jonathan Sheffer.
"It's a natural partnership for us," comments
Andrea Boragno, President and CEO of Toray Ultrasuede. "Our
success as a brand derives from our commitment to meeting fashion
and interior design challenges with solutions that synergize art
and technology. And there's no better way to evoke that synergy
than by creating a partnership between the performing arts and design."
In addition to supporting the Eos Orchestra performance
season, Toray Ultrasuede has also supplied Ultrasuede® fabric
for the renovation of the Orchestra's longtime home base, the Concert
Hall at the Ethical Culture Society. Other contributions to the
performing arts have included support of David Parsons' work with
American Ballet Theatre as well as fashion designers connected with
New Yorks 7th on 6th Fashion Week runway shows.
The Eos Orchestra is a not-for-profit organization committed to
presenting engaging musical programs to a diverse and evolving audience.
The focus is on innovative programming, the rediscovery of important
neglected works and composers, and featuring collaborations with
other artistic disciplines -- producing new and exciting performances.
Through its approach to performance and repertoire, Eos seeks to
be a driving force in the revitalization of the live music experience.
