Ultrasuede® Sales Incentive

Richard Weyerhausen of the furniture retail store
Jensen-Lewis in New York was the ultra-grand prize winner of a five-month
contest to sell the most pieces of furniture covered in Ultrasuede®
brand fabric. Mr. Weyerhausen was awarded a $7,500 Tiffany &
Co. gift certificate and, along with 15 other lucky winners, won
an all-expense-paid trip in May 2003 to Tuscany, Italy, which includes
a tour of an Ultrasuede® factory in Nera Montoro, Umbria, with
additional stops in Rome and Terni.
The contest, part of the "Make Ultrasuede®
Lead Your Sales" campaign, supported TUA's on-going commitment
to working synergistically with the most advanced partners in the
supply chain--the retail stores whose salespeople on the front lines
understand Ultrasuede® and appreciate the importance differentiating
themselves by working with the authentic trademarked product. Mr.
Weyerhausen was thrilled to participate in the contest and said
that once he put a piece of Ultrasuede® in customers' hands
they became "emotionally involved almost immediately. And then
for a customer to hear of the performance results behind the beauty--that's
real and the customer is the ultimate winner."
