TUA Debuts the European Collection from Ultrasuede®

Designers around the world have long appreciated Ultrasuede® for the varied special effects it makes possible. For even longer, they’ve turned to Europe—and especially Italy— for the most innovative fabric trends. Now they can look to the European Collection from Ultrasuede® for a seemingly infinite selection of even more alluring visual and tactile effects.

Designed, produced and finished in Italy by Toray sister company Alcantara SpA, the European Collection is available in North America exclusively from Toray Ultrasuede (America), Inc.

All the fabrics in the European Collection are the result of painstaking creative research into raw materials as well as multiple techniques and processes which take months to perfect.

David Dalrymple encrusted an Ultrasuede® fabric from the European Collection with Swarovski crystals to create this spectacular faux fur coat for his Fall 2002 House of Field collection.

The European Collection inspired a number of the most dazzling new looks in designer Francis Hendy’s latest collection, including, from left to right, a royal blue reversible swing coat, an oxblood metallic gold coat and a tobacco cropped shirt and tobacco/pink skirt combo, all in fabrics from the European Collection.
